Currently on a trip around the sun for the most glorious performance to ou oui Paris. I looked back on the not-as-happy ‘2020’ blogs, I finally feel the sun on my face. It’s the most spectacular feeling to feel this free :>

Since last year, my magical musical ride has turned into such an array of high-profile showstoppers, from Steve Sidwell’s 44-piece Orchestra and Band performing with my awesomely talented friends to emceeing ICC T20 World Cup to producing a Christmas show for the QE2 and singing my heels off at Emirates Golf Club for Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic. A highlight has most certainly been to eventually grant our audiences permission to dance their hearts out whilst we watch the world give live music the biggest welcome-back hug! All in the midst of dropping my latest single “Something I Used To Wear” hitting over 20K views with much radio and media buzz, plus the inside scoop of the making of the video >>> http://www.goldinlisa.com/wp/blog/heres-their-take/.

Anddd then…most recently I have had to pinch myself especially in the last three weeks with the honour of being asked to perform for FedEx in the Champions Village where they hosted VIPs for UEFA Champions League Final 2022. Completely head over heels with excitement, I traveled to a much need holiday in Nice straight into F1, Cannes Festival, and the most idyllic mountainous-oceanic view. I drove over 1500kms to see and breathe all of it in. Was my first trip out since what feels like 1999, it’s really December 2019.
To then land a gig for UEFA was just such a cherry on top. Thank you so much to Lucinda of MKTG for thinking of me for this one! We kicked off the evening with a mixture of my own songs and top40 heartfelt music in the lead up to the game, with special words from VP of European Sales Solutions, Giles Scott and ambassador Claude Makélélé. Got to watch the opening ceremony and game from our spot and then finished the night off with some upbeat feels to lift everyone’s sprits! What a night to reminisce on forever :>

Following this, I extended my journey back to the UK for a wee hello to my friends who have stood by me through the test of time and celebrated much of the last 12 years we’ve not see each other (sorry to those I missed this time, we shall cross paths again). Was fabulous catching Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee (whilst on a passport run too!). Britain holds my heart as this is where I began my songwriting career and was embraced by an industry like no other. Next up I’m guessing SA, as I saw so many pop ups of my home country along the way…think She’s calling!

For now am back to Dubai for an exciting season ahead, I am ready for lots more magic, music and trips around the sun.

Much love to you all <3
